A seasoned veteran, Martha Greenwood is a wedding designer of sixteen years who embodies creative instincts and the ability to envision distinctive weddings. One half of the founding Big Events staff, over time Martha has garnered a sense of taste and style suited to each event, which enables her to be at the forefront of southern wedding designers. Graced with an artistic mind, her experience designing elaborate floral arrangements enables her to grasp the needs of creating the perfect wedding based on a client's wishes. Her guidance ensures each wedding stands alone as a spectacular event — suited to each individual bride.
Denise Sikes :: Wedding Planner
Esteemed with sophistication and class, Denise Sikes is a wedding planner whose every thought goes into making the bride the center of an exquisite event. With an understanding of the logistics of planning, Denise's organizational skills and attention to detail make every moment effortless and geared toward perfection. She values the strong relationships that she builds with clients as the center of her success, attuning her to the style, personality, and vision of the bride, creating unique and personable events — time and again. Bringing energy, a sense of calm, and her entertaining expertise, Denise has been a valuable part of the Big Events Wedding team for years.
Cory Coyne :: Wedding Designer/Planner
The newest member of the Big Events staff, Cory Coyne’s background in decorative arts and interior design helps her brings a strong sense of style to each wedding she takes on. From hand folding hundreds of paper pinwheel escort cards to sourcing the perfect vintage glass, Cory's mission is to infuse weddings with individuality and originality. She loves a challenge, and brides with budget constraints are no exception; they give her a chance to be especially creative with her methods. A recent bride herself, Cory is acutely aware of how important careful organization and thoughtful planning are in guaranteeing all aspects of the day will run smoothly.
Bayley Smith :: Wedding Designer/Planner
Bayley Smith brings to our team a background of event planning, radio production, floral design, and a variety of entrepreneurial endeavors. Balanced with a sense of both organization and creativity, Bayley has been with Big Events for seven years in a variety of roles. Her current position as a wedding planner has brought to light her strongest talents. With a keen eye for details, Bayley helps make a bride’s dream a reality through her effective execution and creative floral design. Whether she’s creating stunning floral arrangements or making sure all of a bride's needs are met, Bayley is able to tackle any event with a proactive and flexible attitude.
Dede Scheibe :: Bookkeeper
With over twenty years of business experience, Dede Scheibe, bookkeeper, serves as an integral part of Big Events Wedding, ensuring all financial endeavors are properly managed. She graduated from the University of Tennessee Chattanooga with a B.S. in Finance and has lived in the Nashville/Franklin area for twenty-one years with her husband and three children.
Malcolm Greenwood :: Production Manager
As the founder of Big Events, Malcolm Greenwood ensures that the business runs smoothly. With over twenty years of production experience, he possesses a rich background in the logistical portion of event production. Malcolm oversees any production that a wedding may entail and manages the daily business side of both Big Events Wedding and our parent company, Big Events, Inc.
